Eastowest mares must meet high standards as individuals. Our mares are easy to be around as well as easy on the eyes, and each mare has a pedigree full of  proven ancestors. We look for kind, athletic mares who are 15-16 hands or taller.

Eastowest strives to better the Appaloosa breed by producing user-friendly, attractive, all-around Appaloosas, and our mares are selected with this goal in mind.  Because our stallion ROWDY AND READY sires 100% regular registerable colored Appaloosa foals, we can choose mares based on other important criteria wothout risk of a non-characteristic solid foal.
